Victoria's first chance to work with me on a big job was during this 10 page fashion spread for the March issue of Styleline Magazine last year. She shot behind the scenes as I orchestrated the 10 different setups we shot for the magazine. Jumping around all day at Airtime trampoline park made for an extremely fun shooting day.
When you are a pair of photographers, there is no excuse, you have to photograph thick fog. This foggy night I became the model as Victoria captured my silouhette in this line of trees.
We then decided to venture down Woodward to a location we had been passing on the regular which was decorated with tons of Christmas lights. Nothing like bokeh, eh?
We had worked with Cassie before but on this shoot Victoria and I decided to have fun experimenting with light from a projector. We like to shoot a model from two points of view at the same time. It gives us an opportunity to get some more dynamic photographs.
Christian and I had the privilege of working with Carmen just recently when she was in town from Los Angeles visiting family for the holidays. She is so natural in front of the camera she made our job very easy. Christian put together two different lighting setups in studio and we shared the same lighting but took on different angles to achieve varied looks. For the last look we went outside to a nearby club parking lot and shot with a makeshift lighting rig fashioned from an old photographers light strip with new tungsten LED bulbs. Then we white balanced the Canon 5D Mark III to tungsten to really bring out the blue in the background. #FYT
